The IG Tour provides all golf professionals and amateur's, an opportunity to compete and prepare their games for higher level competition over the winter months and beyond. The Algarve, Andaluzia and Portugal as a whole with its excellent golf courses, welcoming ability, safe environment and temperate climate is very well known as one of the leading golf destinations in Europe, and is the ideal location for the IGTour.

Golf is played all year round on the Iberian peninsular, and the IGTour will provide a competive environment that is necessary for all aspiring players. Many top European and Challenge Tour players come to the region and utilise its good practice facilities and courses to prepare for the season ahead.

With several new courses now opened and a group of very important and credible partners coming together, it is now possible to present a series of events which will provide all competitiors with a solid and guaranteed playing option over the winter months, and we look forward to providing all competitors with an enjoyable playing and social experience on the Iberian Golf Tour.
